ISOFIX FITTINGS.
If your car has ISOFIX fitted, then you can optimise your child's safety and comfort even further by choosing the INDY PLUS TEAM version which can be secured into your car using it's ISOFIX fittings. This version can also be safely fitted in cars without ISOFIX fittings, using a lap and diagonal seat belt. However when secured with the ISOFIX the seat can recline to 3 different positions for a more comfortable ride. The base simply and easily clicks into the ISOFIX anchorage points found on the latest cars which give extra rigidity and stability for knocks and side impacts. The adult lap and diagonal seat belt is then used to hold both the car seat and child, so no top tether or supporting leg is required.
When secured with the ISOFIX there is also no need to strap the seat in when not is use as it is always connected by the ISOFIX. This is an important and convenient advantage over traditional car seats, because with this car seat you wouldn't have to keep locking the seat belt around an empty car seat to secure it every time you child's absent, like when you drop them off at school or the child minders. It is important to note that an empty unrestrained car seat in a car could cause fatal injury to other passenger in the event of an accident.
